In this workshop I will guide you through the process, teach you ink painting techniques and how to apply them to unlock a state of flow. 

During the workshop we will look at ink paintings from the history of art and learn about different types of composing an ink painting. I will teach and show you ink painting techniques and different approaches to creating an ink painting in a bold and illustrative style. After we will paint together a series of ink paintings based on portraits and botanicals (all references provided). 

The workshop is self paced. It’s designed both for experienced creatives in search of inspiration and for beginners who want to learn ink painting techniques.

By the end of the class you will have a mini series of ink paintings and will be able to create bold and visually impactful ink paintings on your own. The process we will be following can be applied to your other painting and drawing practices.
